The global needs for removable prosthesis increase with the proportion of partial or subtotal edentulous in relation to aging. Although the treatment options include fixed or removable denture (with or without implants), the composite denture combining removable and fixed denture is still today a therapeutic solution widely used in clinical practice. Its implementation requires the use of precision attachments as means of retention. These are numerous and their choice depends to the reasoned analysis of the clinical situation, on their characteristics as well as the habits of the practitioner. We propose a medical approach adapted to different clinical cases reported in this article.
