Abstract
Switching from a complete fixed prosthesis to a fully duplicated removable prosthesis

In daily practice, the duplication is made from a removable prosthesis by several techniques, such as using a muffle or a silicone key. The duplication of existing prostheses allows the prosthodontist to reduce the time and number of work sessions as well as to preserve clinical information contributing to the realization of new prostheses (vertical dimension of occlusion, shape and color of the teeth). This work proposes a technique of prosthetic realization of the complete removable prosthesis starting from an existing complete fixed prosthesis with the duplication process, thus ensuring the passage to a complete edentulous without change of the aesthetic and functional parameters of the patient.
