Thalidomide is a standard treatment for recurrent aphtosis resistant to conventional treatments. It can be responsible for several side effects including sensory-motor polyneuropathy. This peripheral neuropathy is a very common and potentially serious side effect that can lead to irreversible damage. We report here a case of recurrent oral aphtosis treated with low-dose thalidomide with good evolution and good long-term tolerance.
