Cette thèse est une approche globale de la santé bucco-dentaire des handicapés à l’Ile de La Réunion. Une étude menée auprès de 101 déficients (moteur, mental, sensoriel) fait apparaître un contraste entre les demandes en soins (insatisfaits) et le dispositif socio-sanitaire (satisfaisant). Nous avons donc voulu savoir s’il existait des spécificités locales expliquant cette situation.

Summary
The bucco-dental health of handicaped persons in Reunion Island, and its local limits

This work is a global view of the bucco-dental health of the handicaped persons in Reunion Island. A study was carried out next to 101 deficients (spastic, mental, sensory) ; it brings out a contrast between the requests of treatments (unsatisfied) and the systems of "social sanitary" (satisfied). We wanted to know if there was anything specific about the Island which could explain to us this situation.
