Résumé

L’orthodontie a besoin de s’appuyer sur un ancrage fiable, le plus fixe possible pour assurer au mieux les mouvements orthodontiques.
Les mini-vis orthodontiques assurent un ancrage fixe permettant de réaliser des mouvements et des traitements considérés jusque-là comme difficiles voire impossibles, particulièrement le traitement de l’ingression dans le secteur postérieur.
Les mini-vis d’ancrage orthodontique ont l’avantage d’être moins onéreuses, plus simples à placer et de ne pas nécessiter de procédure chirurgicale.
Cet article illustre deux indications cliniques des mini-vis orthodontiques à savoir l’ingression des incisives et les déplacements dentaires transversaux.

Abstract
Two clinical examples of the use of orthodontic mini-screws

Orthodontic needs to reply on a reliable anchoring as fixed as possible to ensure the best orthodontic movements.
The orthodontic mini-screws provide a fixed anchorage for performing movements and treatments considered until then to be difficult or even impossible, particularly the treatment of ingression in the posterior area.
The orthodontic anchorage mini-screw has the advantage of being cheaper, easier to place and do not require surgical procedure.
This article illustrates two clinical indications of orthodontic mini-screws namely the intrusion of incisors and cross tooth movement.
