Abstract
Introduction: New obturation biomaterials have been introduced over the past decade to improve the seal of the root canal system and ensure the success of the root canal treatment. It is well established that the choice of a suitable sealer will affect the outcome of endodontic treatment. A new sealer has been recently introduced to fill endodontically-treated teeth: Bioceramic-based sealer. The present study aimed to elucidate the contribution of bioceramic-based sealer to the treatment of periapical periodontitis.
