Abstract
Mandibular supra-radicular complete denture: therapeutic approach

The preservation of roots as a means of retention represents a therapeutic option of choice in the rehabilitation of complete edentulism, particularly in the mandible. In addition to preserving residual bone and proprioception, it enhances stability and retention through attachment systems, thereby promoting greater masticatory efficiency and better psychological integration of the prosthesis.
The aim of this work was to describe, through a clinical case, the key steps in the management of complete mandibular edentulism using an overdenture supported by retained roots.
