Il a été réalisé 77 cas d’interventions chirurgicales sous Rachi-Anesthésie Epidurale Continue (RAEC) en un point fixe à l’Hôpital National de Kati d’août 1997 à décembre 1998. Parmi les patients, 57 appartenaient au sexe féminin et 20 au sexe masculin. La moyenne d’âge a été de 36,5 ans. Dans la série, 14 interventions ont été réalisées sous Rachi-Anesthésie (RA). Un cas d’échec, opéré sous Anesthésie Epidurale Continue (AEC) a été constaté. La Rachi-Anesthésie Epidurale Continue (RAEC) en un point fixe a été pratiquée chez 62 patients avec la lidocaïne à 2 % et la bupivacaïne à 0,375 %.
77 patients with Continuous Epidural Spinal Anaesthesia (CESA) for operation are achieved during seventeen months in this study. The method of puncture was a single point and needle within needle, the spinal anaesthesia used with 0.375 % Bupivacaine, continuous epidural anaesthesia used with 2 % Lidocaine. Only used spinal anaesthesia for 14 patients which the operation did not exceed 2 h 30 mn ; 62 cases used CESA were satisfactory ; 1 case failed in spinal anaesthesia, but succeeded in epidural anaesthesia. The induce time of CESA were average 29 min ; the reaction time of spinal anaesthesia were average 2 h 30 min. It was concluded that CESA be used for the patient whose operation below umbilical and operating time would exceed 2 h 30 min.
