Résumé

Introduction : Le carcinome basocellulaire à localisation abdominale est exceptionnelle. Nous rapportons un cas survenu chez un patient de phototype VI.
Observation : Il s’agissait d’un homme de 43 ans sans antécédent pathologique particulier qui présentait une lésion nodulaire ferme d’environ 4 cm de diamètre centré par une ulcération à bordure régulière avec un dépôt fibrino-nécrotique saignant au contact indolore localisée au niveau de l’hypochondre gauche. L’histologie de cette lésion confirmait le diagnostic de carcinome basocellulaire. La recherche d’une extension de la tumeur était normale. Le traitement consistait à une exérèse complète de la tumeur avec des marges.
Conclusion : Nous rapportons à travers cette observation un cas exceptionnel de carcinome basocellulaire localisé au niveau de l’hypochondre gauche chez un adulte jeune de phototype foncé. L’intérêt de cette observation était d’attirer l’attention des praticiens sur le recours à la biopsie devant toute lésion suspecte ou résistante aux thérapeutiques habituelles pour éviter l’errance diagnostique.

Exceptional location of basal carcinoma on black skin. About an observation

Introduction: Basal cell carcinoma with abdominal localization is exceptional. We report a case that occurred in a phototype VI patient.
Observation: This was a 43-year-old man with no pathological history who had a firm nodular lesion about 4 cm in diameter centered by a regular border ulcer with bleeding fibrino-necrotic deposit at painless localized contact at the level of the left hypochondrium. The histology of this lesion confirmed the diagnosis of basal cell carcinoma. The search for an extension of the tumor was normal. Treatment consisted of complete exeresis of the tumor with margins.
Conclusion: We report through this observation an exceptional case of basal cell carcinoma located in the left hypochondrium in a young adult of dark phototype. The interest of this observation was to draw the attention of practitioners to the use of biopsy in front of any suspicious or resistant lesion to the usual therapies to avoid diagnostic wandering.
